Iowa Announces Nonconference Men’s Schedule
By JOHN BOHNENKAMP Iowa’s men’s basketball team won’t be doing a lot of traveling in the nonconference schedule. Eleven of the Hawkeyes’ 12 nonconference games will be played within the state — eight at Carver-Hawkeye Arena and three on neutral courts. The lone game out of state will be on November 20 at Xavier, the return trip after last season’s game in Iowa City. The Hawkeyes open the season on November 3 at home against Lipscomb, then play host to Eastern Illinois on November 6.
