Iowa’s non-conference men’s basketball schedule includes three neutral-court games and one road game.
The Hawkeyes open the season with home games against Bethune-Cookman (9-21 last season, 337 NET, 333 KenPom) on November 7 and North Carolina A&T (12-20, 286 NET, 289 KenPom) on November 11.
Iowa goes on the road for a Gavitt Games game against Seton Hall (21-11, 48 NET, 52 KenPom) on November 16 before coming back to Carver-Hawkeye Arena for a November 21 game against Omaha (5-25, 346 NET, 344 KenPom).
The Hawkeyes play in the Emerald Coast Classic tournament on Thanksgiving weekend in Niceville, Florida. They open with Clemson (17-16, 81 NET, 71 KenPom) on November 25 and play either Cal (12-20, 150 NET, 142 KenPom) or TCU (21-13, 33 NET, 26 KenPom) the following day.
Iowa has a November 28 ACC/Big Ten Challenge home game against Georgia Tech (12-20, 157 NET, 156 KenPom), then travels to New York City for a December 6 game against Duke (32-7, 10 NET, 8 KenPom) in the Jimmy V Classic.
The Hawkeyes close the non-conference schedule with three home games — December 8 vs. Iowa State (22-13, 41 NET, 43 KenPom), December 17 vs. Southeast Missouri State (14-18, 250 NET, 244 KenPom) and December 21 vs. Eastern Illinois (5-26, 356 NET, 357 KenPom).
Iowa’s Big Ten schedule, which will include two December games, will be released later this summer.
