Matteoni Makes It A Six-Pack Of Drake Transfers For Hawkeyes

Joey Matteoni, a 6-foot-9 forward from Overland Park, Kansas, signed with the Hawkeyes on Tuesday. Matteoni redshirted last season at Drake, so he will have four years of eligibility. Sage, a 6-foot-7 guard from Weatherford, Oklahoma, originally signed to play for McCollum at Drake, but changed his commitment after McCollum was hired at Iowa.
