Kylie Feuerbach will be a Hawkeye again next season.
The fifth-year guard announced on Tuesday that she will return to Iowa for her final season.
Feuerbach, in her fourth season at Iowa, had a year of eligibility remaining, having played during the COVID-19 pandemic season of 2020-21 as a freshman at Iowa State and then taken a medical redshirt season at Iowa in 2022-23.
Feuerbach has started all 32 games for the Hawkeyes this season, averaging 6.4 points and 2.1 rebounds. She is considered the team’s top defender — she leads Iowa with 42 steals.
“We are thrilled to have Kylie return for an extra season,” coach Jan Jensen said in a statement. “She is a tremendous teammate above all and will give us some veteran leadership for next year. She will return as one of the top defenders in the Big Ten.”
