The Big Ten’s men’s and women’s basketball tournaments will be headed west as part of the next set of postseason sites, the conference announced on Wednesday.

The women’s tournament will be played at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in 2027, with the men’s tournament scheduled for there the next season.

The new four-year schedule for both tournaments begins with the women’s tournament at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on March 5-9, 2025, with the men’s tournament set for there on March 12-16.

The 2026 women’s tournament will remain in Indianapolis, with the men’s tournament scheduled for the United Center in Chicago. The 2027 men’s tournament will be back in Indianapolis, and the 2028 women’s tournament will be at Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit.

The move to Las Vegas coincides with the conference adding PAC-12 universities Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA this season.

“We look forward to partnering with the cities of Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, and Las Vegas as they host the Big Ten Basketball Tournaments from 2025-28,” said Big Ten Commissioner, Tony Petitti. “Each city will be an exciting postseason opportunity for our student-athletes, coaches, and fans, both locally and from across the country.”
